Hoop Dance

More photos from Canada. This was a demonstration of a traditional hoop dance. I was amazed at how the dancer would pick up hoop after hoop, twirl dervish-like around the dance floor while spinning the hoops around her body, and then "poof", as if by magic she would lift the hoops off her body and they would in a sphere, or (as in this photo) interlocked together.
