The First Pounce

Reading Celia Haddon's book One Hundred Ways to a Happy Cat, I came across the following:
"Cats do pounces, not walkies. A cat in the wild makes thirty pounces a day to catch prey ..."

Seemed as good a title as any for a blog, so here it is. Inaugural post - "I declare thirty pounces open".
